Sprig-let welcomes young children and caregivers alike to engage in deep, nature immersion
Are you interested in learning strategies and techniques to make outdoor play an enriching time for young children? Seeking opportunities for group play, community connection, and social/emotional learning for your child? Wanting to engage in hands-on learning and play alongside other adults and children? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Sprig-let is the program for you!
Sprig-let is a playgroup is composed of young children (ages 1.5-3yrs), a partnering parent/caregiver/guardian, and facilitator, Kimberly Worthington. We meet for two hours per session and spend the duration of that time outdoors! Utilizing nature as a mentor and teacher, in each session strive towards cultivating a safe, nurturing, and natural flow in which each participant can deepen their understanding of self, community, and nature. The days will include both guided nature-based activities and free-exploration time. Participants will develop life-long memories, create new avenues of nature connection through play, and practice the art of child-led exploration.
When: Fall session (8 weeks), Tuesdays 10am-12pm, October 1st - November 19th
Where: Each session will take place entirely outdoors! We will utilize public, outdoor spaces with a range of nature environments available. More specifics will be shared upon enrollment.
Costs: $175/child & adult
